Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) was established on the 1st July 1984 by the Parliamentary Act No.6 of the same year, which was repealed by the Universities Act No.7 of 2005 from which the SUA Charter was granted in 2007. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must take a pedagogy skills induction course if they have never taken one before;
- To conduct tutorials, seminars, lectures, and practicals for undergraduate programs;
- To get case studies ready and deliver them;
- To carry out research and publish or distribute findings;
- To identify struggling pupils, step in, and offer assistance and support;
- To take part in community programs and consultations while being supervised;
- To go to symposiums, conferences, and workshops; and
- To carry out any additional tasks that the appropriate authorities may impose.
Required Qualification:
A applicant must have a strong Master’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum GPA of 4.0 out of 5.0, a minimum First Degree GPA of 3.8, and a minimum B+ in relevant subjects, or its equivalent.
