The Gokona underground mine and the Nyabirama open-pit mine are also a part of the North Mara mine complex. Responsibilities:
- Make sure that safe work practices are followed, including obligatory safety meetings and training, the use of PPE when needed, incident and accident reporting, and strict adherence to all applicable laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to occupational health, safety, and the environment.
- Verify the machines’ fluid levels and add more as needed.
- Fuel and lubricant should be dispensed to heavy machinery.
- Lube trucks are a useful tool for helping the mining team distribute oil and diesel to the machinery in the headings and drifts.
- Uphold the Mine Site’s lubricant survey schedule.
- Ascertain precise dip recording and fuel and lubricant receipt and issuance.
- observing the available stock
- Make sure fuel is received and transferred to consumers on time.
- Maintain the underground skimmers’ correct operation.
- Make sure that mobile equipment is recording airflow.
Qualification Requirements:
- Mechanical Trade Certificate (FTC,IMTT & VETA)
Experience and Skills Requirements:
- A minimum of one year’s experience in a comparable industry is required.
- Tanzanian Driver’s License
- Excellent written and spoken communication in Swahili and English
- Capable of comprehending the contents and workings of the book and supply interfaces
- Effective Communication Techniques
- Time-Management Techniques.
