The main brand of SBL is called Serengeti Premium Lager. The portfolio also includes the brands SIB, Guinness, Pilsner, and Serengeti Lite. SBL, which has its headquarters in Dar es Salaam, is also the distributor of a number of Diageo’s premium worldwide spirits brands, including Bailey’s, Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, and Captain Morgan.
The role holder will oversee the management of incoming and outgoing inventory operations for items sold by Serengeti Breweries Limited (including raw materials, packaging, and point of sale (POS) systems) for any designated warehouse. This needs to be completed quickly, safely, and affordably.

Responsibilities:
- Carrying out Materials Requirement Plans (MRP) in order to guarantee proper warehouse usage.
- Weekly counts, monthly and annual stocktakes, deviation analysis, and other inventory management tasks Monitor stock aging, innovations, SLOBs, inventory levels, and information flow back to PLAN.
- Oversee shift-based and daily performance assessments, including meetings, walkabouts, KPIs, action tracking, and escalations to the warehouse manager for Diageo and 3PL for enhancements and initiative implementation.
- Controls: Verify that the warehouse, whether it is owned or rented, satisfies Diageo’s HSE requirements. Improve lighting, signs, security, warehouse racks, and the manner that CARM, IAA, ISOs, and SFIPP are arranged in the warehouse.
Qualifications and Experience Required

- At least a diploma in a related subject
- Three years of minimum experience in a relevant capacity involving inventory management or operations.
- Capable of working within predetermined deadlines and priorities and being computer literate.
- Excellent communicator, commercially astute, and flexible enough to adjust to a dynamic operating environment.
