1. Professor/Associate Professor: Sociology – 3 Posts
- Holder of PhD in the field of Sociology from an accredited Higher Learning Institution.
- Holder of a Master Degree in the field of Sociology from an accredited Higher Learning Institution with a GPA 4.0 and above.
- Holder of a Bachelor Degree in the field of Sociology from an accredited Higher Learning Institution (First class, or Upper second class, with a GPA 3.8 and above.
2. Civil Engineering and Built Environment – 2 Posts
- Holder of PhD in the field of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited Higher Learning Institution.
- Holder of a Master Degree in the field of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited Higher Learning Institution with a GPA 4.0 and above.
- Holder of a Bachelor Degree in the field of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited Higher Learning Institution (First class, or Upper second class, with a GPA 3.8 and above.

8. Philosophy – 2 Posts
- Holder of PhD in the field of Philosophy from an accredited Higher Learning Institution.
- Holder of a Master Degree in the field of Philosophy from an accredited Higher Learning Institution with a GPA 4.0 and above.
- Holder of a Bachelor Degree in the field of Philosophy from an accredited Higher Learning Institution (First class, or Upper second class, with a GPA 3.8 and above.
Terms of Employment:
Successful candidates will be employed on contractual terms of three (3) years (renewable). However, the confirmation shall be made after satisfactory completion of the first year of employment probation. Additionally, candidates should note that there are 38 vacancies open at SAUT Tanzania.
