Branch Accountant || East Africa Fruits
East Africa Fruits Co. is a social enterprise integrating sellers with buyers of fresh fruits, vegetables and grains. We aggregate demand and deliver wide range of fresh and unfamiliar produce directly from farms to stores of B2B customers – retailers, wholesalers, local vendors, restaurants and cafés, hotels and exporters. Now is looking for Branch Accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily tasks such as making payments, keeping track of all cash, check, and bank transfer transactions, monitoring field expenses and cash advances, and maintaining cash and bank ledgers. Reconcile any other relevant information.
- Create balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for the branch office’s finances.
- ensuring that all transactions have been accurately recorded by reconciling sales accounts with bank statements and other financial documents.
- Payroll, receivables, and bank account reconciliation
- Control the flow of cash and make sure the branch office has enough money to pay its debts.
- Create the branch office’s budgets.
- Analyze financial data and generate reports for the Branch Manager
- Verify adherence to rules and accounting standards.
- Help with inspections and audits
- Assist other branch employees with their financial needs.

Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in finance, accounting, or a similar discipline
- Outstanding fluency in both written and spoken English and Kiswahili
- Knowledge of general accounting principals
- Knowledgeable about pertinent computer programs
- Understanding of legal requirements and standards for compliance
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance, or a similar field
