Chief of Party || IREX
An independent nonprofit organization, IREX works to empower children, develop leaders, fortify institutions, and provide access to high-quality education and information in order to create a more equitable, prosperous, and inclusive world. Established in 1968, IREX has a yearly portfolio over $100 million, operations in 20 nations, and 700 employees worldwide. We operate in over 100 nations globally.
For the next five years, $10–25 million USAID-funded Strengthening the Capacity of Local Organizations in Tanzania, IREX is looking for a Chief of Party (COP). The program’s main goal is to strengthen the abilities of local actors, who create problems on their own, set their own goals, and provide the resources, leadership, and ability to see those solutions through to completion. This project will cover several areas in the fields of health, education, economic development, democracy, and government.
Summary of Position
Together with administrative and technical supervision, the COP will be in charge of the program’s overall leadership management. The role will be in charge of making sure that all of the goals and duties set forth by USAID are accomplished.
