The Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology is accepting applications from eligible individuals for admission to its bachelor degree programs, which will begin in October 2022 and proceed through 2024–2025.

Programmes or Course Offered by DIT
The Institute offers THREE and FOUR years’ programmes leading to:
- Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering
- Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering
- Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.
- Bachelor of Technology in Laboratory Sciences
- Bachelor of Engineering in Oil and Gas Engineering
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering.
DIT Entry Requirements
Applications for the Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology programs must be submitted by candidates who hold an Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6) or its equivalent in the relevant field, with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 from an accredited institution and at least four (4) passes (i.e., D grade or higher) in relevant subjects at the Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE), NVA Level III, or Trade Test Certificate of Grade I in the relevant field, with a minimum D grade in Mathematics at the Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE) or equivalent qualifications as defined by either NECTA or VETA.
Holder of good Full Technician Certificate (FTC) or its equivalent in the relevant field from a recognized Institution with an average of minimum pass of C or an average of minimum 3 points based on the following conversion scale: A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2.

Application Process
All qualified candidates should submit their applications directly to DIT via the Students Applications Systems. Additional details regarding the application process and modality can be found on the DIT website at https://www.dit.ac.tz.
Application forms must be picked up at the Registrar’s office and submitted to the admission unit by all qualified candidates for Bachelor Degree programs studied at DIT who wish to be re-admitted at various levels (e.g., NTA level 7) following a break in their studies or an absence.
Application deadlines should be followed. Late applicants will not be taken into consideration.
