Internship Opportunity Open at Tetra Tech Tanzania
Expressions of interest are being accepted for three (3) internship opportunities in the Feed the Future Tanzania (Private Sector Strengthening) project in Tanzania, which is being carried out by Tetra Tech International Development (International Development Jobs – Tetra Tech) with funding from USAID. The main offices in Dar es Salaam, Iringa, Morogoro, and Mbeya will house these posts.
The internship’s purpose is to support the project team in Morogoro and Zanzibar as they work with kids and grantees, by helping them with follow-ups, reports, and communications. In addition, the internship will give interns great opportunities to hone their professional skills and clarify their career aspirations.
The internship is designed as a four-stage educational journey. The first month of each internship rotation is covered in Phase I. In this stage, the intern will meet staff members, learn about the expectations of the program and its expected results, and receive an orientation to basic project management and youth work. Every attempt will be made to tailor internship possibilities to each intern’s unique set of interests, abilities, and skills. During Phase II, which is the second month of the internship, interns will evaluate the ongoing project activities, interact with grantees and youth more closely, and take full use of fieldwork possibilities. During the third month, Phase III, interns will carry out fieldwork, support grantees and youth, and write reports. Phase IV (months four through six)
Applications are open for a variety of internships, such as those in administration and finance, grants management, monitoring, evaluation, and learning, communication, and public and private sector advocacy, cooperation, and assistance.
