Project Officer Intern Open at DWWT job opportunity. For the Women Fund Trust Tanzania-funded project titled “Enhancing Legal Access for Survivors of Violence – Empower Justice Project,” we are seeking a Project Officer (Intern) to join our team in the Manyara region.
This project has two main objectives:
1. Improved access to human rights and justice for survivors in cases of violence.
The project’s main goal is to make communities more resilient in their pursuit of human rights and justice by improving access to legal aid and education and by putting local legal service providers in the community. As a result, a supportive atmosphere will be created for GBV survivors to report instances and look for legal assistance.

2. Increased effectiveness in handling cases of violence reported by women and girls, with referrals for investigation and prosecution.
In order to better report incidences of violence against women and children, DWWT will work with current community paralegals who provide legal services at the local level. The project will also seek to strengthen the community’s ability to successfully report violent crimes to the local judicial systems.
