Title: Server Administrator at Selcom Microfinance Bank Tanzania
Selcom Microfinance Bank Tanzania is currently looking for a confident and self-motivated individual to fill a position of Server Administrator at Head Office. Responsibilities:
- Manage all administrative tasks related to Windows and Linux servers, including planning, deploying, configuring, and maintaining them.
- Conduct thorough, risk-based audits of the business applications, information security, and technology infrastructure.
- In compliance with standards and project/operational needs, install new servers, rebuild old ones, and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, upgrades, etc.
- Making sure that all required server configurations are accurately and completely documented, and that any modifications to the server configuration are promptly reflected in the documentation.
- Assist in maintaining the smooth operation of the system architecture by carrying out server administration duties such as user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, investigate warnings and problems in the event log, and resource monitoring.
- Prepare and carry out routine and disaster recovery processes, as well as hardware equipment visual control.
