Training Title: Side Boom Operator Training
The individual originating candidates will be covering the whole Tanzania nationally
Eligibility / Requirements:
- Age: 25-40 years
- Experience: Minimum of four years of working experience in operating excavators, cranes, motor graders, front-end loaders, or other heavy equipment
- Education: Certificate from a short course in operator training
- Qualification: National Vocational Award for Plant Operation Level II (preferred)
- License: Class F driver’s license Mobile Crane Operator training certificate from IHET (Institute Of Heavy Equipment and Technology), VETA (Vocational Education And Training Authority), TPA (Tanzania Ports Authority Bandari College)
Physical Requirements:
- Eyesight Test; near and distance vision should be clear and ability to distinguish colors to interpret signals and controls correctly.
- Good hearing to understand verbal instructions and hear warning signals or alarms.
- Sufficient strength to handle controls and make manual adjustments.
- Good hand-eye coordination to operate controls smoothly.
- Good balance to maneuver in and out of the equipment safely.
Knowledge Requirements:
- Basic skills to understand manuals, safety instructions, and operational guides.
- Basic arithmetic skills to perform measurements and calculate loads.
- Basic understanding of mechanical principles and how machinery works.
- Basic English speaking and presentation.
